The rumors are true that the High School Musical franchise will indeed be coming back for a forth installment.
However the downside of this is that in the last movie (HSM3) the students graduated, meaning that the movie is likely to focus on a new group of students at the school (likely to be the ones introduced in the last film).
No comments yet on if any of the original cast will be in the film or making small cameos. One thing that is confirmed though is that the next installment will be returning to the Disney Channel rather than the big screen (safety behind a channel I guess)
This could work out great like the UK television Skins, but it could also suck big time if no new heart-throb is in the film to replace Zac Efron.
